About TAC

Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) a unique 8-digit Security Code is a compulsory for customers to have full access to UOB Personal Internet Banking beyond account summary. TAC is an additional method to identify that it is you who is authorising the session / transaction in UOB Personal Internet Banking. TAC will be auto-triggered to you when it is needed.

How does TAC work?

  1. Login to UOB Personal Internet Banking with User ID & Password
  2. Upon login, you’ll have access to account summary page of all accounts :
    • Retail Banking (Current / Savings / Fixed Deposit) Account Summary
    • Credit Card Account Summary
    • Foreign Currency Account Summary
    • Loan Account Summary
    • Investment Account Summary
  3. To proceed further, TAC will be auto-triggered to your mobile phone.
  4. You will need to enter this TAC into the system to have full access to UOB Personal Internet Banking or when you perform any fund transfers, payment or updates on your personal data.

What if I have an overseas mobile phone number?
If you have an overseas mobile phone number, please register at branch. We support mobile number from most countries and network to receive TAC.
